A typical Tax Professional is responsible for the delivery of a full range of tax services for multiple clients in a wide variety of industries. Responsibilities include interacting closely with clients to provide tax planning, consulting, and compliance expertise; developing and managing staff; working closely with partners and staff on client management, and practice development and business development activities. Candidate must be viewed as a technical resource and business partner both within the tax department and within the company. Candidate will work with clients to minimize their federal, state, and local tax liability. He or she is responsible for supervision of professional staffs’ assignments and managing the day-to-day delivery of tax consulting services to the client. Candidate is also responsible for the development and motivation of tax seniors and staff, providing them with counseling, leadership and career development.
